Release Notes

Xcelerate Web App 4.46.3

We’ve made several improvements to reliability, integrations, time tracking, and job file management.

Improvements

  • Improved system reliability: Updated backend configuration to help prevent database connection pool exhaustion and improve overall application stability.
  • QuickBooks Online sync improvements: Enhanced payment and invoice syncing, including improved class tracking and support for refreshing QuickBooks connection details.
  • Improved data integrity: Added safeguards to help prevent duplicate QuickBooks reference IDs.
  • Encircle and document improvements: Improved document handling so eligible Encircle documents are available for email attachments and remain associated with the correct job and organization.
  • Xactimate integration: Improved XML processing to prevent errors for RestoPros files.
  • Improved service resilience: Enhanced handling of downstream service failures to reduce the impact of temporary outages and improve system stability.
  • QuickBooks Desktop sync: Resolved an issue that prevented certain Xcelerate files from syncing correctly with QuickBooks Desktop.

Time Tracking Improvements

We made several improvements to time tracking and weekly overtime workflows:

  • Fixed issues that could cause a full day of time-tracking records to be missing for multiple technicians.
  • Resolved cases where users were incorrectly prevented from manually entering time because the system reported an existing record that was not visible.
  • Corrected clock-in and clock-out timestamps that could be recorded several hours earlier than the actual time.
  • Improved weekly overtime recalculation to provide more accurate results and clearer feedback when changes are outside the applicable date range.
  • Fixed an issue where zero-length time punches could incorrectly prevent overtime changes from being applied.
  • Improved Time Card Approval validation to ensure overtime recalculation requirements are properly enforced.
  • Updated blocker messages to clearly identify the time entry requiring attention.
  • Improved the time entry workflow to ensure updates are confirmed before the form closes.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue that could cause notes to appear multiple times on a job file.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented certain Xcelerate files from syncing correctly with QuickBooks Desktop.
